The best part of being a lawyer that helps people in the Personal Injury field is not only caring about them, supporting them emotionally and fighting and obtaining great results for them, but also if your case helps others as well it is a real bonus for me. I handled a case back in the early 90s in Los Angeles against the City of LA where 911
caused a baby (whose parents I represented) to die. As a result of our case the City
of LA implemented new protocols to help prevent this from happening again and
thousands of lives in LA have likely been saved as a result. We all rely on 911 for emergencies and for me personally, I will always remember this case for both
the incredible clients that I had who lost their baby and the lives that were no doubt saved as a result of their coming forward to do something about what happened
to them. I worked hard on this case (day and night) because it involved new areas of law and because I felt like I was fighting for the children of this world. Much like the song, Children of Sanchez by Chuck Mangione, which became a theme song for this case.
